About me
I'm originally from Luanda, Angola and came to South Africa 18 years ago. I was planning to only visit but, like so many, I lost my heart to Cape Town and stayed.
I've always been interested in sports and for as long as I can remember I have always practiced one or more sports at any time in my life. Like any young boy I started playing soccer from a very young age. At the age of 14 my older brother introduced me to karate and that's where my passion for the martial arts started.
In addition to karate, I started practicing judo and jujitsu. I trained whenever I could and by the age of 18 I was a black belt in karate and judo and became National Champion in Karate and National and Continental champion in Judo.
In 2008 I added boxing to the list. I trained hard and participated in several (semi-professional) fights, and until today I'm still undefeated. I experienced that, different than karate or judo, boxing is for everyone -old, young, fit, unfit - and can easily be adapted to the level of the person who's practicing. You can box to stay fit and you can box to become a fighter. I can help you with both.
In my free time I also do not sit still. If I am not in the gym, you'll probably find me on the golf course. I am an avid golfer and love to hit a few balls on one of the many beautiful golf courses the Mother City has to offer.
I've been blessed to have the opportunity make my passion into my job. I get to share my passion for sports with other people and love helping people feel better, looking better and being healthier. I know it does not only affect your body, it affects your mind as well. If your mind is not into it, your body won't either.
For me exercise is the best thing in the world. It makes you feel like a million rand, it lifts your spirit and I love to see that happen in people.
Exercise is more than just exercise for me, exercise is life.
